The joint conference between PLAID, AgriDemo-F2F and NEFERTITI projects (FarmDemo Conference) was organized on 21st of May in Brussels, Belgium. About 200 people attended this event.

The FarmDemo initiative is the result of close cooperation between the three H2020 projects – PLAID, AgriDemo-F2F and NEFERTITI. NEFERTITI is a continuation of the two other projects and most of the project activities will be implemented on the basis of the experience gained and information gathered from them. They all aim to showcase peer-to-peer learning and focus on farm demonstration as a tool to boost innovation uptake.

The conference brought together farmers, advisors, researchers, policy makers, and other actors who had different opportunities during the plenary sessions and working groups to exchange their experiences and gain new knowledge. Also to the participants were given in various forms the opportunity to present their opinion and actively participate in the on-going discussions on the different aspects of the demonstration activities.

The main objective of the event was to discuss the results and lessons learned from the activities of the Horizon 2020 projects implemented so far, as well as recommendations and suggestions from the various participants in the peer-to-peer learning.

The farm demo hub gives access to the inventory of demonstration farms in Europe and register for a demonstration farm or innovation actor.
